Work with Adobe stakeholders to understand product features and documentation requirements.
Transform complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences ranging from beginners to advanced users.
Leverage AI-assisted content creation tools and custom LLM models to increase authoring efficiency while maintaining quality standards and accuracy.
Follow Adobe style guides, voice and tone standards, and content patterns.
Optimize content for modularization, reuse, SEO, and discoverability across multiple platforms.
Support content operations across various touchpoints including authoring, proof-reading/editing, tagging, document uploads, content migration, and maintenance activities as required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Communication, Journalism, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in technical writing, content development, and/or developmental editing, preferably in software/technology companies.
Strong portfolio demonstrating both content creation and editorial capabilities, preferably with consumer-facing documentation or digital content.
Core Skills
Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, structure, tone & attention to detail.
Structural editing skills with ability to improve content organization, flow, and clarity.
Proven ability to transform complex technical concepts into easily understandable content for non-tech users.
Proficiency in applying style guides across large content sets and maintaining consistency.
Technical & tools proficiency
Experience with or strong willingness to learn AI-assisted content creation tools, LLM workflows, & prompt engineering.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and collaborative writing/editing tools.
Working knowledge of SEO best practices and writing for online readability.
Basic understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and localization considerations.
Nice-to-have qualifications
Knowledge of structured authoring methodologies (DITA, XML) and version management systems.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud apps or competitive design/creative software.
Experience with text, visual, and video content development tools.
Understanding of analytics platforms, search technologies, and data-driven content optimization
Background in content strategy, information architecture, or UX writing
Experience working in agile development environments with iterative content workflow
