Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring
Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and specialized technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, Security, Product Engineers).
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring priorities, and interview plans.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, events, and other creative channels.
Conduct in-depth technical and behavioral screenings.
Manage candidate pipelines from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
Lead compensation discussions, including salary negotiation, equity conversations, and offer alignment with internal compensation frameworks.
Manage offer processes end-to-end, addressing candidate concerns and closing top technical talent effectively.
Stakeholder Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends, compensation, and hiring best practices.
Collaborate with HR, People Ops, and leadership on workforce planning and headcount strategy.
Influence interview processes to improve efficiency, fairness, and hiring quality.
Process & Data
Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, funnel conversion, diversity metrics).
Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal hiring policies.
Act as a communication bridge between candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely decision-making.
Employer Branding
Represent the company professionally to candidates and external partners.
Support employer branding initiatives such as career events, tech meetups, and online presence.
Draft, refine, and optimize technical job descriptions to improve candidate quality and conversion rates.
Proactively follow up with candidates throughout the interview process to ensure engagement, clarity, and a positive candidate experience.
Set clear expectations with candidates and hiring managers regarding interview timelines, role scope, leveling, and compensation bands.
Required Qualifications
5-8+ years of technical recruiting experience (in-house, agency, or both).
Proven success hiring for complex technical roles.
Strong understanding of modern technology stacks and engineering disciplines.
Experience partnering with senior leaders and high-growth teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments.
Exposure to global or distributed hiring.
Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring practices.
Background in data-driven recruiting or talent analytics.
