Job Description

Shift timings: General & US hours.

Total experience required: 5 to 8 yrs

Notice Period : Not more than 30 Days - 15 / Immediate Joiner Preferred *

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse

Ability to develop scripts using python to do Extract, Load and Transform data

Ability to setup monitoring and provide production support for Data Warehouse issues such data load problems, transformation/translation problems etc.

Ability to understand data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done

Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based and on-premises technologies

Communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences

Support continuous improvement

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other specialization with relevant experience.

4+ years of experience in developing SQL code in MS SQL/Oracle/others....

4+ years of experience in Python scripting language

3+ years of experience in integration tool SSIS/ODI/others

Experience working with APIs/lambda function

Experience designing complex ETLs extracting data through RDBMS, Flat file, XML files, Json sources

Should be able to analyze poorly performing queries/ETL mappings and provide suggestions to tune them.

Experience with AWS EMR, AWS EC2, AWS IAM & S3, AWS CloudFormation, DB2, Oracle, Hive.

Knowledge of data warehouse architectures and a basic understanding of data modeling

Able to work on own initiative and as a team player

A strong belief in automated testing, and experience with version control

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills, client facing experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
