We actively seek a Senior Application Support Engineer, PeopleSoft Technical Developer. This role can be based in Hyderabad or Bengaluru.

Position Summary

The role of the Senior PeopleSoft Developer is to provide exceptional support for mission-critical PeopleSoft suite of applications. The position entails responsibility for research, troubleshooting and support for multiple releases of PeopleSoft's enterprise software. This includes but is not limited to support for software configuration issues, applications, customizations, and performance tuning. The role of the PeopleSoft Developer will require the expertise and skills in order to resolve complex issues via remote access and deliver fixes for such issues in highly customized environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop custom solutions for PeopleSoft Financials using PeopleSoft tools (Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, etc.)
• Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues
• Design and document new or modified existing reports (BI Publisher, nVision, etc.), trees, workflow, interfaces, pages, etc.
• Have experience with file layouts , CI, flat file interfaces and utilization of REST APIs.
• Thoroughly document change requests, test results, and approvals
• Be a pro-active contributor to a support organization which is running 24x7x365, this will require the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitoring email regularly outside standard business hours
• Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to extend field experience to different client situations
• Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience
• Provide PeopleSoft application support to multiple national and international assigned accounts as support engineer
• Develop strong support-based relationships with our clients.
• Accurately document client issues in the case management system
• Develop PeopleSoft updates and fixes across multiple functional modules.
• Perform regression testing on all development updates for quality assurance.
• Create and debug programs according to functional requirements.
• Develop technical documentation for all Rimini Street software deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment providing technical support

Education

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience

• 6+ years' experience working with PeopleSoft in a technical capacity.
• Experience in multiple releases of PeopleSoft
• Expertise with the PeopleTools Development Toolset (Application Designer, Data Mover, Application Engine, SQR, XML BI Publisher, CI file layouts, App Packages ,IB etc.)
• Expertise in the development of programs, reports, interfaces as well as customization knowledge and experience in various PeopleSoft modules.
• Expertise in debugging, analyzing and developing programs and fixes for PeopleSoft.
• Experience with the development and maintenance of custom and add-on modules.
• Very high expertise in developing complex SQL scripts to support complex business requirements.
• Experience with SQL across multiple platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, e.g.).
• Experience working in multiple operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux.
