The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for leading complex structural design projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the highest level of engineering quality and standards. This role involves project management, structural analysis, design, client interaction, and mentoring junior engineers.
Design structural components for large or small-scale projects requirements to ensure specifications meet project goals
Review blueprints, plans and change orders to verify structural integrity of materials and designs, and perform complex calculations and use modeling methods to ensure correct results
Create and present structural overviews for upcoming projects, and develop reports that include technical details for engineers as well as big-picture analysis and cost estimates for project managers and senior executives
Use AutoCAD and other drafting software programs to create 2D design documents and 3D models for individual components and overall structural plans according to client needs and project requirements for deliverables
Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international building codes and regulations.
Prepare documentation for private and government clients covering project plans and progress, change orders, ownership transfers and other relevant information
Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
Ensure all design work aligns with relevant codes, standards, and zoning regulations.
Interface with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
Review projects of other peers
Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers
Prepare Project report with the coordination of drafting team for review TL
Follow construction safety guidelines and prepare project files with detailed note accordingly
Track and report on project progress
Collaborate with contractors and project managers
Attend meeting with clients to understand the requirement
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferable Experience more than 10 Yrs.
