Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who can comprehend new technologies, come up to speed quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.



o Analyze functional requirements and design specifications & create test plans and test cases, execute & validate the test results.


o Automate test cases, debug and fix automation issues.


o Create a robust acceptance & regression testing repository.


o Discover, debug, document and verify software anomalies.


o Document test artifacts; evaluate testing results and track them using internal tools/processes.


o Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner.


o Address queries from Product Management, Software Development Group and Client Servicing team's w.r.t our software products in a timely manner.


o Identify QA and testing issues, and generate solutions for process improvement


o Contribute to the training of new hires & ramping them up to speed.


o Work collaboratively with a global team.



o Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.


o Minimum 4 - 6 Years' experience working in an Agile software development team.


o Knowledge of C#, C++, Java or any other object-oriented programming language.


o Knowledge & hands-on-experience of data management tools including but not limited to SQL/R/Python and Excel.


o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


o Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.


o Experience in working with global teams.


Desirable


o Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance.


o Experience in working with large datasets.
