Job Title:- Sr Specialist System Engineering - CAE
Location:- Bangalore
Job Summary:-
The candidate is expected to be part of CAE simulation activities. It consists of gathering necessary input data from internal or external customers, perform pre-processing and post-processing simulations, prepare detailed technical reports, and effectively communicate results with global engineering teams. Primarily, the customer (Internal and External) expectation needs to be understood clearly and execute the FEA/CFD simulation requirements quickly, right first time.
Key Job Responsibilities:-

• Perform Advanced Simulations: Utilize tools such as ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS Fluent, EDEM, CUTPRO, and Thirdwave AdvantEdge to conduct simulations related to structural analysis, metal cutting, metal forming, and various manufacturing processes. Apply analytical methods where appropriate.
• Support for Cross-Functional Teams: Provide simulation support to multiple cutting tool subsystems, including Standard Engineering, Custom Solutions, Field Sales and application, Production Plants, and Global Design Teams.
• Application Behaviour & Troubleshooting: Predict product behaviour across various applications, conduct root cause analysis, and provide solutions for design and tool failures. When required, travel to production sites or customer locations for in-person troubleshooting and support.
• Stay Technologically Updated: Continuously stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in CAE, mathematical modeling, AI and global technology developments to enhance simulation capabilities and best practices.

Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 3-5 Years
Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills: M. Tech in relevant disciplines (With minimum 1 year) or BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Allied courses like IP, IEM, AE, MS etc with at least 2- years experience.
