Job Overview:
We are seeking Quality Assurance testers to join our Digital team. In this role, you will be engaging with our Developers and Delivery Leads to perform manual testing across multiple online digital products and later create test suites to complete workflow with automation solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to understand requirements and acceptance criteria to develop test cases. You will also be responsible for leading UAT in collaboration with our Product Owners.
Day-to-Day:

• Getting to familiarize with the features being rolled out in Production releases.
• Create & execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for end-to-end testing.
• Participating in Scrum calls and technical discussions.
• Collaborating in agile ceremonies, team meetings, and cross-functional projects.
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
• Being available for any regular Release / Production defects support.
• Automate and maintain existing regression suites.

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve as quality engineer supporting integrated solution testing and quality assurance for online digital projects and application releases including pre-production and post-deployment testing.
• Follow integration test strategies and quality engineering methods and procedures for crating & analyzing test plan, strategies, writing and executing test cases, troubleshooting and managing application defects.
• Implement test automation strategies with hands-on test automation scripting, execution and maintenance to improve test coverage and consistency across regression testing.
• Support defect creation and defect management and defect root cause analysis to drive improvements in future.
• Analyze test results and metrics, prepare and present status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, product and business teams on large-scale strategic initiatives, supporting quality practices through all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing and faster feedback.
• Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle by promoting automation and continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Participate in agile processes (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and team ceremonies.
• Requirements review and collaboration with analysts to understand acceptance criteria.

Overall Experience:

• 4+ years experience in manual testing, performing Integration testing, Regression testing, System testing, Data verification testing, Accessibility, API and security testing and User acceptance testing (UAT)

• 4+ years' experience in Automation using Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright (Java/Python).

• Strong knowledge on any basic object-oriented programming (Core Java concepts).
• Solid experience in DevOps Agile methodology.
• Solid experience in preparing Test strategy, Test plan, Test scenarios, Test cases and Test scripts based on User requirements and System Requirements.
• Solid experience in using the Test Management Tool (Quality Center, Test Director, Test Complete, Rational Test Manager) during entire Testing Phase.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and modern version control for use in continuous deployments.
• Experience working with process management software such as JIRA is preferred.
• Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices and Agile Software Development.
• Good understanding of SEO principles including web analytics and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Experience with web application testing across multiple browsers and mobile views.

Additional Desirable Experience:

• Good experience in build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar.
• Good experience in Unit and Function testing using Junit, Spock, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI or Postman.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development team.
• Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and leaders.

Shift timings: Typically, between 1 PM to 10 PM India Standard Time. May have to work long hours in situations when needed.
Education Qualification: Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
