Veritas\xe2\x80\x99 Worldwide Sales and Marketing team propels company growth by driving all aspects of sales and marketing, including direct and channel sales, global sales enablement and all marketing functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cater requests related to Alta Data - Data Estimate, Data Import, Email Reassignment, Data Export and Datacenter Migration. This would be primary focus of the role to begin with.
  • Deliver Veritas Consulting Services engagements for Enterprise Vault (EV) and Alta (formerly known as Enterprise Vault.Cloud), including but not limited to: implementations, upgrades, configurations, assessments, health checks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues. Provide guidance to customers.
  • Interact with customers, partners, Veritas personnel, and third-party vendors to understand and satisfy customer requirements.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and quality assurance on delivery of projects.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Validate shared data and perform tasks, generate task reports and share with customers.
  • Deliver services based on in-scope solution or assigned tasks; provide regular updates to technical delivery leaders and escalate out-of-scope requests or issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members, program/project managers, account/finance, product engineering and other technical teams to deliver engagements and/or escalate/resolve issues.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, such as timely completion of assignments, utilization, billable hours, and customer satisfaction.
  • EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 18 months of relevant experience with Enterprise Vault (EV), solution implementation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. In-depth specialization with Enterprise Vault (EV).
  • Experience understanding networking and system operations and/or administration.
  • Experience in working independently to deliver projects to customers and engaging others when necessary.
  • Experience in working in a flexible time to overlap customer\'s time zones.
  • Strong customer focus and skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in dynamic environments.
  • Working experience with any other Veritas product is an added advantage.
  • SKILLS DESIRED
  • Overall Unix/Linux/Windows system experience.
  • Experience with Enterprise Vault (EV) and/or Alta.
  • Some scripting and development background (Perl, DOS batch scripting etc. VBScript, Java/C++ a plus).
  • Database administration experience a plus (Oracle or SQL preferred).
  • Project/program management understanding.
  • Should be able to work on multiple CRM/tools related to daily tasks.

The person will deliver services through a structured method of solution planning, design, implementation, and operationalizing Veritas products and solutions.
