We are looking for Sr. Solution Architect - Mainframe Modernization, please find the JD below:

Sr. Solution Architect - Mainframe Modernization

Location: Bangalore (Whitefield) or Chennai (Siruseri) or Pune (Talawade) or Mumbai (Airoli (West).

Proven experience (15+) as a Mainframe Modernization Solution Architect or a similar role Leading architecture and design activities in legacy modernization projects such as IT Re-architecture, Business Re-architecture, Re-hosting, Re-engineering, Re-platforming, Business Rules Extraction etc. Solid understanding of legacy systems and modernization approaches, methodologies and best practices Strong knowledge of modern technologies, platforms and frameworks with the ability to select and recommend appropriate solutions Experience in system integration, data migration and performance optimization in legacy modernization projects Experience on mainframe technologies such as COBOL, Assembler, PL/1, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, RPG, CL, DB2/400, etc. Experience in On-Mainframe modernization Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex system architectures Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in software systems Working knowledge and understanding of Cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Google) Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment

Refactor Solutions (any one) - AWS BluAge, AWS Transform, Astadia, Heirloom, Google G4 etc

Assessment tool (any one) - Enterprise Analyzer, CAST, Google Mainframe Assessment Tool (MAT), AWS Blu insights

Certifications (nice to have) - AWS BluAge L3, aws certified solutions architect (Associate or Professional)

Mainframe modernization (nice to have)- IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z
