Responsibilities: Both manual and automated testing Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently and identify opportunities to automate functional tests Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Quality Engineers in test plan creation & execution to ensure proper test coverage and rigor Serve as a test lead or point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers Become a SME in the product domain Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities Reporting team/project metrics Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 6+ years direct experience supporting or testing complex windows/desktop and/or web application product release Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing in manufacturing domain Experience with Selenium WebDriver with TestNG/JUnit or similar testing framework, JMeter, or other open source/commercial market-leading solutions for functional, regression, or performance test automation Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with both on-shore and off-shore resources and flexible with work hours to provide time zone overlaps Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong technical aptitude, time management and organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Expertise working with one or both of Java/JVM ecosystem or C#/.NET ecosystem Experience with relational databases and SQL Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day activities Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language Knowledge of Tridium\'s Niagara framework or NodeRed or similar visual programming interface a plus Knowladge of HTML/CSS, and Javascript a plus Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Java/JVM ecosystem or C#/.NET ecosystem Experience with Azure and other Microsoft technologies Experience with ERP solutions is a plus preferably Plex or other manufacturing focused solutions Experience with shop floor integration software solutions such as MACH2 or others manufacturing shop floor integration focused solutions Knowledge of cloud-based automation Experience with Jira/Confluence and qTest Manager
