Senior Software Test Engineer (Blend Role) We are seeking a Sr. Software Test Engineer(Blended) to join our growing team in Pune, India. WHAT\'S YOUR IMPACT Both manual and automated testing Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently and identify opportunities to automate functional tests Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Quality Engineers in test plan creation & execution to ensure proper test coverage and rigor Serve as a test lead or point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers Become a SME in the product domain Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities Reporting team/project metrics IS IT IN YOU Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 8+ years direct experience supporting or testing major application product release Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing Experience with JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, or other open source/commercial market-leading solutions for functional, regression, or performance test automation Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with both on-shore and off-shore resources Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong technical aptitude, time management and organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Expertise working with one or both of C#/.NET ecosystem or Java/JVM ecosystem Experience with relational databases and SQL Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day activities Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of C#/.NET or Java/JVM ecosystem Experience with Azure and other Microsoft technologies Experience with ERP solutions is a plus preferably Plex or other manufacturing focused solutions Knowledge of ASP (VBScript), ASP.NET (C#) or MVC Knowledge of cloud-based automation Experience with Jira/Confluence and qTest Manager
