A Bangalore, India, Engineering position (Contributor Software Engineering) for the Customer Touchpoints APIs and Storefront (CTAS) organization with focus on Digital Connect (DC) Products/Systems. The individual must be the right fit for the position ?a," this goes beyond technical skills, competencies, and experience, but into realms of culture, ethics, morals, attitude. The person needs to be highly ethical, has very high moral standards, shows mutual respect, works well across global teams, sharing knowledge, is an excellent team player within and outside the immediate teams.

Education, Work Experience, and Communication

?a,A EDUCATION: Business or Technical/Engineering Master?a,a,,s degree from reputed/accredited universities.

?a,A 5+ years of Software Development experience.

?a,A COMMUNICATION: Crisp and clear communication skills.

Job Requirements

1) Highly proficient in Core Java (Java 8 +) and J2EE technologies with 6+ years of experience, deep understanding of data structures with excellent problem solving skills

2) Complete understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design & Programming

3) Hands on Experience with Open Source Frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, EhCache

4) Hands on experience using Software Design Patterns of GOF, J2EE and related

5) Strong Experience in web services development, SOAP and RESTFul using Jersey, Apache Axis, CXF or other frameworks.

6) Complete Understanding of relational databases and noSQL databases. Relational DB(Oracle, MySQL) and no sql (Mongo)

7) Demonstrated knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems

8) Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle/GIT

9) Understanding of TDD practices and experience with Unit, System & Integration Testing

10) Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal

11) Experience on developing microservices preferably using Spring boot

12) Understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins

13) Writing excellent quality code, should have strong hold on junit and related framework

14) Good understanding of code quality tools (like findBug and Sonar)

15) Strong hold on data structures, multi-threading

PREFERRED SKILLS:

aa,A Understanding of Agile development framework is a plus

aa,A Understanding of GCP and/or AWS

aa,A Experience or Knowledge of web applications development

aa,A Understanding of Airline domain or past Sabre experience
