As a Senior Tools Developer on the Common Engineering Tools Team, you will be responsible for designing, and developing enhancements to in-house tools used globally by our Engineering staff. In addition, you will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of these tools.



Design, implement& test new features for Common Engineering tools. Create training material and system documentation. Install new systems and new releases into test and production environments.

Mandatory:

A bachelor's degree software engineering, computer science or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in software development, most of which is relevant to the position. Excellent knowledge of one of the following development stacks. Java, Spring, JavaScript (React), jQuery, bootstrap Application servers (Apache, Tomcat etc.) Relational database modeling and schema design Experience with PostgreSQL writing procedures and functions Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux. Very good communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.

Preferred:

Experience with more than one of the development stacks mentioned previously. Very good knowledge of VMware and other virtualization platforms. Self-motivated and self-confident. Exceptional troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent inter-personal skills. Good analytical and organizational skills. Experience in collaborating with international teams.
