Job Description

Java Backend Developer (API + DB). Full stack if possible.

Java:

Proficient in Java programming language, with experience in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and Java frameworks (Spring boot)

Web technologies:

Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

Databases:

Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Cloud platforms:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

Testing and deployment:

Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Agile development:

Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.

Communication and leadership:

Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and capacity to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Position Summary

Performs standard/routine assignments by following existing procedure. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior-level roles. Has impact on own work team/functional/business unit. Requires working knowledge and experience within own function/specialty area

Qualifications

Preferred:

Deep knowledge of at least one programming language.

Ability to document, track and monitor problem/issue to a timely resolution

Collaborative problem-solving ability and self-motivated

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 0-2 years of experience
