Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety. The candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and implementing software solutions that enhance vehicle safety. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive safety standards and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement software solutions that adhere to automotive functional safety standards ensuring the highest level of vehicle safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test software components that meet safety and performance requirements. Analyze and interpret safety requirements to ensure software solutions are compliant with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical expertise in the development of safety-critical software ensuring robust and reliable performance. Oversee the integration of software components into larger automotive systems ensuring seamless operation and safety compliance. Conduct thorough testing and validation of software solutions to identify and resolve any safety-related issues. Document software development processes and safety compliance measures to ensure transparency and traceability. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure software quality and adherence to safety standards. Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive functional safety and incorporate best practices into software development processes. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software solutions that meet safety and performance goals. Mentor and support junior engineers in understanding and applying automotive functional safety principles. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes to enhance efficiency and safety compliance. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any safety-related concerns.
