What's the role?:

In this role you will:Develop commercial grade software that is user friendly and suitable for global audience Optimize applications for quality, usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability Verify your work through automation testing Maintain and enhance the build and deployment tool chain Take part in planning activities such as: design, architecture and requirements reviews, story grooming, and bug triaging Participate in code reviews of your work and of your peers Collaborate with other engineering teams across the company Participation in an on-call rotation to ensure timely support and resolution of critical issues

Who are you?:

You are a fast learner and are comfortable working with little direction. You take initiative and bring up ideas. In addition you have the following:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 5+ years of experience building scalable commercial web applications with RESTful data sources Excellent applied skills in Angular and Node programming Full stack experience, ideally building RESTful web services in a cloud computing environment Expertise with modern web development tools such as node, npm, git, yarn, webpack, ESLint and Docker Deep understanding of Type/JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS fundamentals Working knowledge of REST API integration in web application Familiarity with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine and Cypress Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Gitlab and Jenkins

In this position you will be part of the HERE Platform Portal team, an integral component of the Compute Foundation team - a dynamic, agile team that's responsible for advanced tools, an ecosystem of collaborators and rich location data and services in one place. The HERE Platform Portal serves as the primary application for all Here customer interactions and product access.
