The Senior Software Engineer is primarily responsible for working with one or more specific application development teams including front-end and back-end component development. You will work with architects, analysts, data scientists, service designers, process engineers, and peer developers both in India and the US to translate customer opportunities, needs, feedback, and technology capabilities into scalable, resilient, and efficient customer-centric services. You will contribute to the development of end-to-end solutions to help us better serve our PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for development and maintenance of enterprise-wide web applications using ASP.Net, VB.Net, Jquery, Web Services, MVC, C#(delegate, multithreading, collections[All must], HTML5, CSS, Web Applications, Windows/desktop applications. 1. Responsible for participating in all stages of the development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. 2. Work with US business stakeholders to ensure requirements are being met 3. Should work in the US time zone with onshore counterparts. 4. Good experience working on Agile teams and extensive familiarity with all Agile ceremonies. 5. Keeps current with new technologies and software methodologies related to the Microsoft software development platform. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in application development using C#(Delegates, Multithreading, Collections), ASP.NET, VB.NET, JQUERY, MVC, Web Services, Web API, LINQ, asynchronous programming, AJAX, HTML, and CSS 2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience developing back-end solutions using Microsoft SQL Server 2016. 3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Windows/desktop applications. 4. Experience working with Agile teams and familiarity with all Agile ceremonies and principles 5. Experience working with the following is preferred: a. GIT for source control b. OAUTH authentication and Azure Libraries c. test-driven development and mocking frameworks d. Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control e. Classic ASP f. Azure ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2. Excellent organizational and time management skills 3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 4. Strong attention to detail and documentation 5. Strong foundation in object-oriented programming 6. Ability to work in a team-based environment 7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule 8. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline-sensitive work environment 9. Experience in Conversational AI and the Retail industry is preferred
