Schneider Digital DEVS working closely with the Energy Management & Industrial Automation is building the next generation of a fully integrated Platform as a Service (PaaS) for IoT on the Edge and on the Cloud. This platform capitalizes on all digital capabilities to accelerate EcoStruxure roadmaps across the company. An integral part of this Platform is EcoStruxure Exchange.

EcoStruxure Exchange is responsible for opening up EcoStruxure to the external world through a Developer Portal exposing Open APIs / SDKs / Datasets and Analytics, a Developer Community that can collaborate and innovate, and a Digital Marketplace that can help monetize developer tools, apps and partner offers. The EcoStruxure Exchange Engineering organization is looking for passionate, experienced, and skilled Software Engineers to help us build, operate and scale Exchange with new content & features as well as targeting a larger set of users and partners around the world.

Responsibilities & duties:

As a Frontend Software Engineer you will work with a team of highly skilled people, all with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery. You will be able to articulate your ideas to your colleagues effectively and will take on board the ideas of others. You will thrive when faced with new challenges and will constantly look to improve clients\xe2\x80\x99 deliverables.

Core Responsibilities:

• Handson full time developer engaged in coding & working with the team to develop the application and solve all surfacing problems at hand
• Identify and removes technical impediments
• Partner with the Product owner in story creation and acceptance criteria, and communicate tradeoffs effectively with Designers
• Prepare high and low-level designs in collaboration with Solution/Software Architect.
• Guide FrontEnd team on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration and automated deployment
• Accountable for the technical design & development of the product front end
• Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
• Works with the team to create & deploy the roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality

A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design & development with high levels of quality & reliability is essential.

Qualifications

Skills Required:

• 5+ years experience in developing web frontend using both: Angular 10 or later JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Excellent understanding of functional programming, especially in JavaScript.
• Can assist and support in making architecture decisions at a team and product level
• Knowledgeable in frontend design patterns for building scalable and robust Web Apps (SPA)
• Ability to work with Google analytics will be addon advantage
• Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI
• Excellent Knowledge of Front-end frameworks (bootstrap, foundation, etc. ...)
• Excellent knowledge of CSS(3) and HTML(5),
• Good Knowledge of Content management systems
• Good knowledge in mobile agnostic design architecture
• Good Knowledge of Node JS
• DevOps & CI/CD experience in Azure DevOps, or any similar a plus
