About the role

This exciting position is on our Cloud Services team within Gen Digital, Inc. The Cloud Services team provides the backend services that powers our security applications. We currently serve over 100 million customers via our direct Norton / Avast / Avira / AVG consumer products and partnerships. We are working on some interesting challenges and seeking passionate technologists to join the team. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic team environment on our cloud-based services. What You Will Do in This Role

Take direction from the team and accomplish the tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsible for the development and implementation of backend software components.

Develops and maintains high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product.

May assist in requirements planning and design of our cloud services.

Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need to be Successful in this Role

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Post Graduate degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)

Good knowledge in Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPS

5+ years of experience with

Java / J2EE / Spring

RESTful Web Services

Azure / AWS Cloud Technologies

Strong analytical / problem solving skills
