Job Description

JPMorgan's Digital Platform team builds forward-looking, foundational technologies and core capabilities for future technology platforms. The foundational services technology team are responsible for building core platform solutions like Streaming systems, Business Intelligence, Application Enablement, Identity & Access Management and other core digital products to support developers creating novel consumer experiences and workplace/productivity products.

As an experienced software engineer, you'll drive and execute product vision, build highly technical solutions, partner with other groups and guide the team(s) through key milestones. You'll be part of Digital Platforms team and will be responsible in building high quality products that are used by thousands of developers. We're looking for an exceptional technologist who has a strong interest in digital technologies, experienced in creating high quality software products, can think big and thrives on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with teams within digital platforms and other application teams to:

• Build high quality services, products and frameworks
• Be hands-on with certifying integrity and quality of code and design
• Develop scalable solution in hybrid cloud that align with global security and access management standards
• Perform peer code reviews
• Champion software engineering best practices in all stages
• Detail-oriented coupled with an ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
• Need to be proficient in a variety of technical areas to effectively work in cross-functional team

Your Background:

You are a seasoned hands-on software engineer and have

• BS/MS with 8+ years of experience in developing enterprise solutions in public/private cloud
• Strong Java, Java EE development experience
• Experience in the Spring Framework
• Strong software development experience in effectively writing code, code reviews, writing test cases
• Strong CS fundamentals, data structures & algorithms, networking, and systems
• Great work ethics and can work with ambiguity and deliver concrete outcomes

Great to have

• Experience in integrating with authentication methods including OPEN ID Connect, SAML, OAUTH2
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, or Shell
• Experience with Kubernetes or Container Oriented Infrastructure
• Experience with distributed databases, NoSQL, and performance tuning
• Experience with iterative, agile based software delivery processes
