What will you do Build highly scalable, applications on the Enterprise Digital Asset Management (EDAM) platform using Java, AWS, Unix and PL/SQL Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems. Functionally decompose sophisticated problems into simple, straight-forward solutions. Fully and completely understand system inter-dependencies and limitations. Research and implement novel ML and AI implementations around large data sets How will you get here Education/Experience: BS level technical degree or equivalent experience Computer Science or Engineering background preferred 6+ years of large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in following languages: Java, Javascript, Python, PL/SQL, Shell scripting 1+ years of large scale software development with recent experience in any of the cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) Exposure to Agile development methodologies Preferred Qualifications: Building applications using OpenText Media Manager Platform API, Maintaining highly available large customer data flow in to and out of OpenText Media Manager Designing and building application using container and serverless technologies.Solid understanding of Kubernetes is a plus Experience architecting highly available systems that apply load balancing, horizontal scalability , high availability and reliability.
