We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 14 to 17 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Kubernetes Kafka Spring Boot and Java. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive innovation and contribute to our cutting-edge projects. The position offers a day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement scalable software solutions using AWS Kubernetes Kafka Spring Boot and Java to meet business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and deploy high-quality software applications. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging. Optimize existing systems and applications to enhance performance and user experience. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and ensure adherence to best practices. Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard company and customer data. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team. Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support software development processes. Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications. Engage in agile development practices to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in AWS Kubernetes Kafka Spring Boot and Java is required. Proven experience in developing and deploying scalable software solutions is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies is highly valued. * A bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.
