Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC JavaScript and MySQL with a strong background in Retail Banking. This role offers a work-from-home model with day shifts and no travel requirements. The candidate will contribute to developing innovative solutions that enhance our retail banking services ensuring seamless integration and performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC to enhance retail banking applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AWS-based cloud solutions that improve system reliability and performance. Utilize SQL and MySQL to manage and optimize database operations ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Implement JavaScript to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces that enhance customer experience. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and data security. Continuously monitor and improve application performance implementing necessary updates and enhancements. Document software processes and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of software projects.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of AWS cloud services and their application in software development. Demonstrate proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC for building robust applications. Have extensive experience with SQL and MySQL for effective database management. Exhibit expertise in JavaScript for developing interactive web applications. Show a deep understanding of the retail banking domain and its technological requirements. Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer
