A highly skilled Software Developer with hands-on experience in building and maintaining technology solutions for the B2B garment, textile, or apparel industry. In this role, it will contribute to end-to-end product development, enhance operational efficiency, and support business-critical applications. Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and merchandising to build scalable platforms that streamline order processing, inventory, pricing, catalog management, and partner integrations.
Key Technical Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and Node.js.
Design and optimize RESTful APIs and manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Work with JSON data, cloud services, authentication, and data security.
Improve usability and performance for B2B buyer/vendor workflows.
Support ERP modules: product/SKU management, inventory, warehouse, sales, and purchase operations.
Use tools like Cursor, AI-driven assistants, and Git for development and collaboration.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability.
AI Development Responsibilities
- Build AI tools for garment industry needs: sizing/fit recommendations, product tagging, defect detection, forecasting, and conversational interfaces.
IoT Development Responsibilities
- Work with IoT hardware/sensors for machine monitoring, smart factory analytics, RFID/barcode inventory tracking, QC automation, and environment monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
3+ years of professional development experience (B2B garment domain preferred)
Experience with development environments like Cursor AI
Strong expertise in: Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express. js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, REST APIs & JSON data handling
Familiarity with AWS cloud environments is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
