Koch Capabilities is seeking an experienced a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capability from the ground up-modernizing legacy monitoring tools and practices to drive a culture of reliability, accountability, and automation. What You Will Do





Design and implement modern observability solutions to enhance service reliability and accountability Define and measure service performance through SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to drive intentional reliability strategies Partner with stakeholders to advocate for and implement reliability best practices aligned with business goals Lead incident response and post-incident analysis to drive continuous improvement Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



Expertise with observability platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana Strong understanding of SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes concepts Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-native architectures Proven experience mentoring and developing engineers Strong communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders


What Will Put You Ahead



Experience with Open Telemetry for distributed tracing and telemetry collection Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management and deployment automation Expertise in deploying and managing Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Mimir Knowledge of synthetic transaction monitoring Cross-domain expertise (e.g., networking, finance, leadership) Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and ArgoCD for GitOps-based infrastructure automation Multi-cloud experience (e.g., Azure, GCP)Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and influence engineering culture
