AMD together we advance_ SENIOR SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER THE ROLE: We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivative design verification engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD\'s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Verification Engineering team furthers and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: High Speed Serdes IP development Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, Verification and firmware engineers to understand the new features to be developed RTL IP design based on the feature request IP product ownership, customer support, reference design delivery Provide technical support to other teams PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in RTL coding and RTL methodologies Strong oral and written communication skills are essential Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and have good influencing and leadership skills Detailed understanding and proven track record of designing leading edge standard and proprietary high speed interfaces IPs/Solutions Good understanding of system design aspects and its impact on performance and throughput Experience in system level verification, validation and debugging of system solutions FPGA Validation experience with high speed above 10Gbps line rate is a plus Serdes based High Speed IP/product development ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree or equivalent experience is required. #LI-SR5 Benefits offered are described: .
