Senior Service Technical Engineer - Glass Facades & Aluminium Doors

Job Summary:

The Senior Service Technical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, supervision, and on-site service for glass facade systems, aluminium doors, windows, and related architectural products. The role involves troubleshooting, installation supervision, maintenance, and coordination with clients and project teams to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide

technical service and support

for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of glass facade and aluminium door systems.

Diagnose and resolve

technical issues related to mechanical fittings, alignment, leakage, and hardware components. Conduct

site inspections

to ensure installation quality and compliance with drawings and specifications. Coordinate with the

design, production, and project teams

for technical clarifications and modifications. Prepare

service reports

, site visit summaries, and corrective action plans. Ensure compliance with

safety standards

and site work procedures. Provide

technical training

and guidance to junior service engineers or technicians. Liaise with

clients, contractors, and consultants

for technical support and service resolution. Support warranty and post-installation service activities. Recommend improvements in product design and installation practices based on field feedback.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical

or related field.

2 to 5 years

of experience in servicing or installation of

glass facades, aluminium doors, windows, or structural glazing systems.

Strong understanding of facade hardware, glazing details, and aluminium system profiles. Experience in

reading engineering drawings

and using measurement tools. Knowledge of

facade installation techniques, sealants, waterproofing, and load testing

.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong

technical and problem-solving

skills. Good communication and

client-handling

ability. Knowledge of

AutoCAD / MS Office

preferred. Team leadership and

on-site coordination

skills. Willingness to travel for site visits and service calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
