will be responsible for providing technical service, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance support for machinery and equipment at client sites. The role demands strong technical knowledge, customer interaction skills, and the ability to manage service activities independently.
Install, set up, and commission industrial machines/equipment at customer sites.
Conduct testing, calibration, and performance validation.
2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or automation-related issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ensure minimum machine downtime with quick and effective resolutions.
3. Customer Support
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Train operators and maintenance staff on machine operations and safety.
Maintain strong customer relations and ensure high satisfaction levels.
4. Service Documentation
Prepare service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
Log issues, resolutions, and parts used in service activities.
Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Production, Quality) for technical updates.
5. Spare Parts & Tools Management
Identify required spare parts and raise requisitions.
Ensure proper handling and care of service tools and equipment.
6. Coordination & Follow-up
Follow up with clients for service completion and feedback.
Support the service manager with planning and service scheduling.
Suggest improvements in machines based on field feedback.
7. Safety Compliance
Ensure all service activities are carried out following company safety standards.
Report any hazards, risks, or unsafe conditions at client sites.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems.
Experience in installation, service, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and manage field service tasks.
Qualification:
Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, , or related field.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
Working knowledge of MS Office for reports.
Valid driving license (preferred).
