We are seeking a skilled and strategic Senior SEO Analyst (Immediate Joiners Preferable) with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles for multi-locations. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of local SEO, Google's local ranking factors, and be adept at using data and insights to drive visibility, engagement, and conversions. You will lead GMB initiatives, implement location-based strategies, and ensure consistent performance across client listings.
Roles and Responsibilities
Local SEO Strategy & Execution:
Develop and lead data-driven
Google Business Profile (GBP)
strategies to maximize local visibility, discovery, and engagement for clients across industries.
Google Business Profile Optimization:
Manage and optimize GBP listings across multiple locations - including business info, categories, services, images, posts, Q&A, reviews, and UTM tagging.
Reputation Management:
Monitor and respond to GBP reviews, and implement review generation strategies to improve brand credibility and local trust signals.
Local Citation Building:
Ensure accurate and consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) across key directories and local aggregators.
Hyperlocal Content Strategy:
Collaborate on creating locally relevant content such as landing pages, blog posts, and GMB updates (offers, events, FAQs) tailored to geographic intent.
Geo-Targeting & Maps Optimization:
Improve performance in Google Maps and local pack rankings through strategic geo-tagging, image optimization, and location-specific keyword usage.
Insights & Reporting:
Track and analyze GMB Insights, GA4, and Search Console data to evaluate performance metrics like search visibility, direction requests, call clicks, and conversions.
Technical & On-SERP Optimization:
Implement enhancements like UTM tracking, call tracking, structured data, and monitoring of SERP features like "People Also Ask" or "Local Packs."
Tool Utilization:
Leverage platforms like
BrightLocal, Local Falcon, Yext, GeoRanker
, or
Local Viking
for audits, tracking, and performance optimization.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with content teams, designers, and developers to align local SEO efforts. Mentor junior analysts on GMB workflows and best practices.
Client Communication:
Participate in review meetings, present performance updates, and recommend localized strategies to improve ROI and lead generation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
4-6 years of hands-on experience in
Local SEO and Google Business Profile management
(preferably in an agency setting).
Deep knowledge of
local ranking factors
, proximity-based search, and mobile-first strategies.
Strong experience with tools like
GMB Briefcase is a plus.
Familiarity with
GMB API
