We are seeking an experienced Software Developer in Test to join our growing Spotlight Content Team within the ITSecOps Product Group. This position is responsible for developing automation and creating tools that ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of large-scale cybersecurity systems for the Falcon Spotlight Product.
About the Product:
The Spotlight is the Vulnerability Management module for ITSecOps product group and is essential for identifying risks arising from vulnerable applications and operating systems on customer environments.

This is a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) position in the engineering team. This role focuses on development of automation framework and scripts, tools, harnesses, and specialized tests for the sensor and end-to-end testing of the product. SDETs may also participate actively in design and code reviews, and collaborate with the cloud and UI teams to assure end-to-end system functionality. They may also work with customers and product management to understand use cases and end to end scenarios.
Location: Pune or Permanent Remote

You will:

• 
  Contribute to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions
• 
  Plan, design, develop, verify, deploy and maintain automated test suites
• 
  Increase our automated test coverage and improve our release quality and velocity
• 
  Analyze product, system and feature designs for flaws and improvements
• 
  Validate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data and applications
• 
  Validate and verify customer-facing features, end-to-end, across the product platform

Responsibilities:

• 
  Designing, developing and supporting effective and reusable test automation framework, scripts, tools and test setup for the entire team to use for developing tests effectively; the goal is to minimize manual testing and enable the team to write automated tests to test the product
• 
  Identify and write specialized tests for specific Applications and platforms such as Windows, Linux and MacOS to ensure there are no False-Positive, False-Negative on the analysis.
• 
  Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to control risk, improve quality, and streamline release cycles in a continuous integration model
• 
  Work with customers and product management to understand end to end product use cases.

Requirements for the candidate:

• 
  Proven experience in test automation, extensible test framework design and development, test planning, test case designing and test execution
• 
  Hands on experience on writing quality code in any scripting or programming language. Having knowledge on Python/GoLang is a plus.
• 
  Should have exposure to any of the Web supported tools/framework such as Selenium, Django, or web2py
• 
  Hands on experience to any of the CI/CD tools and process such as Jenkins
• 
  Database integration via automation framework is good to have. Experience on any RDBMS is a plus
• 
  Ability to Collaborate with the peers, development team and program managers in a distributed environment effectively
• 
  Knowledge of Ansible, Jira, TestRail, is good to have.
• 
  Having a sound knowledge on Networking concepts is a plus
• 
  Knowledge of enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS is a plus
