Do you imagine the driving impact for more than a million merchants across SE Asia? Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our QA on the Merchant Platform. In this role, you will be an integral player in the Merchant Platform team based in India (Gurugram). You will be responsible for driving one of the multiple streams on our GoBiz pod (Merchant facing Apps) that have a strong influence on merchant delight. Honestly, we cannot emphasize enough the importance of the work done by this team.
What You Will Do

• Improve the test automation experience at Gojek by enhancing tools/scripts, test coverage, and/or code structure, and Automate repeated manual tasks to improve self/stream’s productivity
• Debug and analyze the bugs in the application, aiding developers in arriving at the root cause and training junior QAs to follow suit
• Manage timely testing and delivery of your own tasks (manual testing)
• Participate in product discussions, and refine the acceptance criteria
• Take responsibility for the entire life cycle of your stories: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements
• Write concise, comprehensive, detailed test plans, and review the test cases/ test plans written by junior engineers and peers
• Work closely with the Product team (i.e. PMs, Designers, Developers, and QA) right from the inception of features
• Understand business and product requirements as related to payments and the existing service architecture; gain a deeper understanding of the domain

What You Will Need

• At least 4 years of practical experience in Software Testing or relevant industry experience and having deep knowledge in Manual, Automation test methodologies and principles
• Experience in working with API, Web and mobile testing in both manual and automation
• Highly experienced with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Git, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG
• Experience in working with the Java programming language
• Solid analytical problem-solving skills with deep knowledge in Agile process management methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab pipeline
• Understanding of core business logic, algorithms, and datasets, with the ability to perform low-level System and Data Analysis
• Experience and knowledge on performance testing and Linux/Unix commands is a plus

Our Merchant Platform Team consists of 120+ people in product, engineering, design, research & program management based in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and India. Working alongside the engineering and product groups, we are predominantly concerned to create an ecosystem of solutions to accommodate merchants' needs on the Gojek platform to better manage and grow their business.. We constantly strive to improve the merchant experience and enhance our integrated ecosystem that consists of such as food delivery, offline payment acceptance, POS, financial services, deals, and promotions altogether. We help to run Southeast Asia’s leading financial platform for online and offline merchants. It's our job to oversee all things related to empowering business owners and to create seamless and efficient payments as well as products/restaurant management. The aim of the merchant platform team is to become the central nervous system for merchants in SE Asia. We do so by building products that enable merchants to manage their Food delivery orders, accept payments, manage offline orders through a POS and much more through a merchant superapp called GoBiz. Currently there are more than a million merchants who use services from our platform and are able to drive growth for their business as well as manage operations efficiently.
