Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience. How you will contribute You will work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements You will effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, you will plan, lead and coordinate development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results. What you need to know about this position : Candidate will have the responsibility of product development for Cocoa Beverages in AMEA region. Candidate will support innovation, renovation, plant support and price pack architecture projects for Cocoa Beverages.

Plan and executes work plans, including development of risk assessments and contingency plans independently.
Analyze results of experiments and translate them into actionable recommendations with minimal guidance and support. Strong knowledge of the commercialization process.
The candidate should have good understanding of the functional characteristics of ingredients and processing capabilities and how they impact the finished product, to meet consumer and business expectations.
The candidate must be versatile, and be able to work in cross-functional teams. The candidate must be capable of working proactively across multiple projects.
Education / Certifications : B Sc. MSc. B. Tech M Tech Food Science/ Engineering or similar
Job specific requirements : Minimum of 7 yrs. experience, preferably in the powdered beverages. Experience in product development.
Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity.
Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage complexity- from bench top to commercialization.
Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization

Travel requirements : Up to 20%
Work schedule : AMEA time zones
