About this opportunity

Aligntech\xe2\x80\x99s SAP Security team is looking for a Senior SAP Security Engineer to be part of geographically distributed team. This person will be responsible for managing production and non-production SAP eco system, work with internal and external teams, should also apply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve security, engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks and resolve issues. Responsible for support and enhancement of the complex SAP implementation.

In this role, you will\xe2\x80\xa6

• Play key role in design and implementation of security best practices for SAP systems, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BTP, GRC, Fiori, BOBJ and DB\xe2\x80\x99s to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
• Configure and customize GRC Access Control and Risk control, including Multi-Stage Multi-Path (MSMP) workflows, Rules, Approvals and Firefighter access for existing and new systems.
• Configure CCM/Manual Controls in GRC Process control to monitor the sensitive Business Functions
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks to ensure SAP systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Address and report on security issues and vulnerabilities.
• Manage user access to SAP systems by designing and managing custom roles to fit the organization\'s specific needs and aligning them with business processes and security policies.
• Participate in new projects, upgrades and implementations of S/4Hana, Fiori, GTS and BTP SAP Cloud services
• Collaborate with internal teams, hosted system provider(s) and 3rd party vendors to resolve SAP issues.
• Identify risks and propose solutions in system designs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot SOD Conflicts, Ruleset Issues and resolve them.
• User maintenance (help with onboarding, offboarding and maintenance of users, mass users maintenance).

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need \xe2\x80\xa6

• Strong experience in SAP Security, GRC Access Control , Process Control and Risk Management components.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Math, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or equivalent technical training and 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 of IT experience.
• Good understanding of process of designing and maintaining authorization roles for SAP ECC, APO, GRC, BW, S/4Hana, Fiori, Java and BOBJ systems
• Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of Multi-Stage Multi-Path (MSMP) workflows, BRF Plus Rules. Hands on experience in Rule Set Customizations. Experience with setting up security controls, FFID access, table logging and audit reporting for SAP GRC.
• Proficiency in the development, documentation and implementation of regulatory, information security, and business continuity solutions for the distributed environment.
• Experience in Data Administration, Identity Management, Information Security, Sarbanes-Oxley Regulatory Compliance and authorization conflict analysis/resolutions
• Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and SAP Cloud/BTP platforms is a plus
