to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure Salesforce solutions. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for aligning Salesforce architecture with business objectives, ensuring best practices in system design, and mentoring development teams. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and other architects to create a robust Salesforce ecosystem that meets enterprise-grade standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
Design scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
Define and document technical architecture, including data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks.
Lead architectural reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Development Oversight
Guide development teams in the implementation of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, etc.
Ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability across all Salesforce solutions.
Establish coding and design standards and enforce development best practices.
Integration & Data Management
Architect and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (e.g., Mulesoft), or ETL tools.
Design and manage data migration and transformation strategies across multiple orgs or systems.
Strategy & Planning
Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leaders to align Salesforce strategy with broader IT goals.
Lead roadmap planning, release management, and org governance strategies.
Evaluate and recommend third-party apps and AppExchange solutions.
Mentoring & Leadership
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Salesforce developers and administrators.
Lead code reviews and technical workshops.
Support change management and training for new Salesforce features and capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 3+ years in an architectural or technical lead role.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, governor limits, and data model.
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Flow.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset) and Salesforce DevOps processes.
Strong knowledge of security, sharing models, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft), or third-party tools.
Salesforce certifications such as
Salesforce Certified Application Architect
or
System Architect
, and ideally
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), CPQ, or Marketing Cloud.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Previous consulting experience with enterprise clients.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities in a technical team environment.
