Ansell is looking for a Sr Sales Trainer, Industrial Sales to join our team in Mumbai, India.
In this position you will play a vital role in developing and delivering training programs on field, workshops and seminars that enhance the technical knowledge and sales skills of our sales team. This role focuses on equipping sales personnel with the necessary expertise to effectively market and sell our industrial products and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial sales/manufacturing, a deep understanding of relevant technologies, and a passion for mentoring others. Through engaging training sessions and the creation of comprehensive training materials, the Sales Trainer will play a vital role in driving sales performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

What your role will be?
Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Industrial Sales Lead, you will have the opportunity to:
Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to the industrial sales team, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry best practices.
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales personnel.
Need to visit the Field sales force, distributors, and end customers for delivering training sessions, and workshops, to enhance the skills and product knowledge.
Develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to support the learning process and ensure consistency in training delivery.
Evaluate the training needs of the sales team through performance assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to continually refine training content and methodologies.
Work closely with product managers and technical experts to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current market trends and company goals.
Track and assess the effectiveness of training programs by measuring sales performance, employee feedback, and knowledge retention to ensure continuous improvement.
Offer continuous support and mentorship to sales team members post-training, addressing questions and providing resources to help them apply their knowledge in the field.
Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and competitor offerings to ensure training content remains relevant and competitive.
Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the sales team by organizing regular update sessions, Q&A forums, and collaborative learning opportunities.
Ensure that all training materials and records are up-to-date and easily accessible to the sales team for reference and continued learning.

  • Ability to assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback.

  • Languages: Fluent English (written & spoken).
