We are hiring an exceptional Sales Manager who can drive B2C brand partnerships, B2B business development, and athlete management across the sports ecosystem. The ideal candidate is experienced in selling pure brand narratives, content-led sales solutions, and custom video-led digital IPs. Someone with a strong background in video ad sales, influencer marketing, and high-level partnership building.
Beyond advertisers, this role now demands the ability to approach leagues, sports franchises, athletes, tech partners, and sports organizations for long-term revenue opportunities such as social media management, content production, tech services, and athlete management.
Key Responsibilities
B2C - Advertisers & agencies
Acquire new clients for branding and sustenance campaigns
Pitch, close, and manage digital ad sales with media agencies & direct advertisers
Sell custom video IPs, influencer-led concepts, branded content, and digital solutions
Handle the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure
Study competition and proactively propose new revenue initiatives
Build a strong brand perception for CricTracker among advertisers
Stay updated on digital, content, and sports marketing trends
Maintain strong client relationships and grow existing business
Forecast revenue through structured account management
Use research, insights, and data to support brand partnerships
B2B - Leagues, teams, sports ecosystem
Identify, approach, and pitch partnerships to:
Cricket & regional leagues (domestic and overseas)
IPL franchises & other sports teams
Cricket associations & teams
Tournaments, events, and sports organizers
Pitch end-to-end social media management, content production, and storytelling services
Sell tech services such as live score widgets, dashboards, content automation tools, and API-based solutions
Lead athlete management sales:
Digital presence management
Representation for brand deals
Content and PR support
Long-term commercial partnerships
Build long-term B2B relationships with sports entities and negotiate multi-year deals
Collaborate with internal teams to create bundled offerings across content, design, video, influencer, and tech
Expand CricTracker's role as a full-stack digital solutions partner for the sports industry
Requirements
4-5 years of experience in digital ad sales or content-led solution sales
Strong network with advertisers, digital agencies, and brand managers
Prior experience handling categories like FMCG, E-commerce, and Media & Entertainment preferred
Proven expertise in digital solution selling, pricing, inventory control, and campaign management
Strong understanding of social media, video content, influencer marketing, and sports marketing
Excellent communication skills, negotiation ability, and a go-getter mindset
Experience in closing high-value partnerships and working with senior stakeholders
Prior exposure to sports partnerships, team tie-ups, athlete management, or league collaborations is a strong advantage
