Job Description

Job Summary:



The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event planners. This role leads strategic sales efforts, negotiates key accounts, and ensures that sales targets are met in line with the hotel's business objectives. A strong understanding of the hospitality market and excellent relationship-building skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:



Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, leisure, and travel trade segments. Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and strategic partners. Achieve or exceed individual and team revenue targets for room sales, banquets, and other services.

Account Management:



Manage a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring strong repeat business and customer loyalty. Conduct regular client meetings, site inspections, and business reviews. Resolve client issues promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.

Strategic Planning:



Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans for assigned markets and segments. Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities. Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted promotions and campaigns.

Reporting & Coordination:



Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management. Work closely with the reservations, revenue, and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Represent the property at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.

Requirements:



Education:



Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:



5-8 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or managerial role. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of hospitality sales, market segmentation, and rate strategy. Proficiency in sales CRM systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, Salesforce). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions:



Office-based with frequent client meetings and travel. May involve working evenings or weekends for events and client entertainment.

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
