Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement growth strategies specific industrial products.
Identify new market opportunities and potential industry segments.
Contribute to long-term business development planning for South India region.
2. Sales & Revenue Management
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Handle key accounts, build long-term client relationships, and ensure customer retention.
Drive revenue growth through effective sales planning and execution.
3. Technical Support & Application Guidance
Provide technical support to clients on product selection, application techniques, and troubleshooting.
Conduct product trials and demonstrations at customer sites.
Ensure correct product usage and implementation as per client requirements.
4. Product Management
Coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers for product updates, pricing, and inventory planning.
Track product performance and suggest improvements based on customer feedback.
5. Market Analysis & Reporting
Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and new product launches.
Prepare market trend analysis reports and submit regular performance updates to senior management.
6. Customer Relationship Management
Address client concerns and resolve complaints promptly.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service.
Strengthen customer loyalty by building trust and providing value-added solutions.
7. Operational Coordination
Coordinate with logistics, accounts, and stores teams for smooth order execution.
Ensure timely invoicing, payment follow-up, and credit control.
Maintain proper documentation related to sales and operations.
8. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and technical documentation.
Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
3-8 years in sales/business development, preferably in adhesives/industrial products/chemical industry.
Strong business acumen and market knowledge.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Leadership qualities with ability to handle a sales team.
Problem-solving and customer service orientation.
Other Requirements:
Willingness for extensive field working across South India.
Own two-wheeler/four-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
