Role Overview



We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented

AGM - Marketing

to lead business development, sales channel management, and marketing initiatives in the electricity transmission and distribution sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of conductors, cables, and wire rods, with proven experience in developing strategic relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute

sales and marketing strategies

to achieve business growth and revenue targets. Expand company's presence across multiple states by building

channel partners, distributors, and direct clients

. Manage

tendering, costing, quotations, and negotiations

for government and private sector projects. Lead

end-to-end sales cycle

: enquiry generation, order booking, inspection, delivery planning, and payment collection. Participate in

online tenders and auctions

on government and private portals. Prepare and present

MIS reports

(daily, weekly, monthly) for sales tracking and management review. Conduct

market research and competitor analysis

to identify opportunities and formulate business strategies. Build and maintain long-term relationships with

key stakeholders, consultants, EPC contractors, and vendors

. Ensure compliance with company policies and support overall

business operations and strategic goals

.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of

electricity transmission & distribution industry

(Conductors, Cables, Wire Rods). Expertise in

sales channel development and business expansion

. Strong

negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

. Analytical mindset with ability to prepare

cost sheets, pricing strategies, and business reports

. Hands-on experience in

government/private tendering processes and online auctions

. Proficiency in

MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

and sales management tools. Ability to work independently as well as lead a sales/marketing team.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's Degree in

Engineering / Business Administration / Marketing

(MBA preferred).

7-10 years of experience

in

Sales & Marketing

within the

Electricity Transmission & Distribution industry

. Proven track record of

business development, channel management, and direct sales growth

.
