Summary
The Senior Executive
- Sales will be responsible for aggressively growing the company's
ISO Tank Container
business. This involves securing new clients, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets for the transportation of bulk liquids (including chemicals, food-grade, and hazardous materials) via intermodal transport (sea, road, rail). The role requires specialized knowledge of ISO tank logistics, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in the logistics/supply chain industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement an effective
sales strategy
to expand the ISO tank container business in assigned territories or market segments (e.g., chemical, petrochemical, food & beverage).
Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new clients requiring bulk liquid transportation solutions.
Generate leads and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial enquiry and quotation to contract negotiation and closing.
Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with
key accounts
, including chemical manufacturers, traders, and major freight forwarders.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring service excellence and high customer satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and service contracts tailored to client needs.
Provide customers with technical information related to ISO tank specifications, compatibility, and handling requirements.
Collaborate closely with internal operations, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ensure all sales activities and operational procedures comply with relevant international standards, such as
IMDG
(International Maritime Dangerous Goods) code and other transportation regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related technical field (e.g., Chemical Engineering) is preferred.
3-5 years
of progressive sales experience in the logistics industry, with a minimum of
2-3 years
directly in
ISO Tank Container sales
.
Specialized Knowledge
In-depth understanding of the
ISO tank container market, operations, and technical specifications
.
Familiarity with intermodal transportation, global freight forwarding, and supply chain management.
Knowledge of
IMO/IMDG regulations
and the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
