Job Summary:



The

Senior Sales Executive - LT Cables

is responsible for driving sales growth of low-tension (LT) cables and related electrical products within the assigned territory. The role involves developing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, EPC companies, and industrial clients to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development



Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for LT cables and related products. Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. Generate inquiries, submit quotations, and follow up for order finalization. Manage end-to-end sales cycle -- from lead generation to order closure and payment collection.

2. Client Relationship Management



Maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and electrical contractors. Regularly visit customers for technical discussions, product demonstrations, and after-sales support. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly.

3. Market Intelligence



Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments. Provide feedback to management on product demand, customer needs, and potential new segments.

4. Coordination & Reporting



Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, and accounts) for smooth order execution. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.

5. Technical Knowledge



Understand specifications, standards (IS, IEC), and applications of LT power and control cables. Assist customers with product selection based on technical and commercial requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:



Education:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 4-7 years of sales experience in

LT cables

, wires, or electrical products (preferably from cable manufacturing or electrical goods sector).

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of LT cable specifications, project procurement processes, and electrical distribution networks.

Skills & Competencies:



Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong technical aptitude in electrical products. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Customer-focused approach with relationship-building skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Sales revenue vs. target achievement. New customer acquisition. Market share growth in assigned territory. Customer retention and satisfaction. Timely payment collection and minimal outstanding dues.
