The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for advanced laboratory equipment, including
ULT & Lab freezers and refrigerators, centrifuges, clean air equipment, and ultra-pure water purification systems
. This role requires a strong technical understanding of scientific equipment, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to research institutions, hospitals, universities, and industrial laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned product lines.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic accounts in the life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and end-users.
Provide consultative support to customers, ensuring product suitability and satisfaction.
Manage post-sales support in collaboration with service teams.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to provide insights for product positioning.
Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop territory-specific strategies.
Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with application specialists, service engineers, and distributors to ensure seamless customer experience.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM tools.
Submit timely reports on sales performance, market feedback, and customer requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in
Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline
; MBA preferred.
2-3 years of proven sales experience in
scientific/laboratory equipment
or healthcare technology.
Strong technical knowledge of laboratory instruments (freezers, centrifuges, clean air systems, water purification etc.).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
