Role Overview:
We are looking for a
Sales Executive
to manage school and institutional sales of our books. The role involves visiting schools, meeting principals/decision-makers, building relationships with distributors and retailers, and ensuring business growth in assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit schools to promote and sell Woodapple books.
Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, teachers, and decision-makers.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by management.
Handle order generation, follow-up, and ensure timely payment collection.
Conduct book presentations, demos, and promotional activities in schools.
Coordinate with the logistics and telecalling team to ensure smooth order processing.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales visits, leads, and closures.
Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
Candidate Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Education).
2-3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in publishing or education sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for school visits and client meetings.
Self-motivated and target-driven with ability to work independently.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting tools).
