Sales Executive - Tour Operating Company (Bayard Vacations)Job Summary
As a Sales Executive at Bayard Vacations, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our travel packages, including tours, accommodations, and related travel services. Your role will involve understanding client travel needs, providing expert advice, managing bookings, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base and achieving sales targets to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
Promote and sell Bayard Vacations' tour packages, including flights, hotels, sightseeing tours, and travel insurance.
Provide expert travel advice and tailor travel solutions to meet client needs.
Manage the entire booking process, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmations.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Stay updated on travel industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support promotional campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
Handle customer queries, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and bookings using CRM and travel booking systems.
Participate in travel exhibitions, sales tours, and networking events to generate leads and promote Bayard Vacations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in travel sales, tour operations, or related customer-facing roles is highly desirable.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in travel booking software and CRM systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets consistently.
Passion for travel and knowledge of popular travel destinations and trends.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
