Key Responsibilities
Conduct field visits to prospective clients (e.g., SMEs, startups, enterprises) to identify needs and pitch IT products/services like custom software, AI tools, cloud migration, and digital solutions.
Generate and qualify leads through on-site demos, trade shows, industry meets, and door-to-door outreach in targeted areas (e.g., local business hubs, tech parks).
Build and nurture client relationships via follow-up calls, emails, and in-person meetings to achieve conversion targets (aim: 15-25% lead-to-client ratio).
Organize and represent the company at local events, webinars, and networking sessions to promote products and collect feedback.
Collaborate with the sales and product teams to customize pitches, prepare proposals, and close deals.
Track field activities, leads, and conversions using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM or HubSpot); prepare weekly reports on pipeline health and market insights.
Stay updated on IT trends and competitor offerings to refine outreach strategies and ensure compelling messaging.
Handle basic logistics like travel scheduling, demo setups, and post-visit documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years in field marketing, sales, or client acquisition roles; IT/tech sector experience preferred (e.g., promoting software/services).
Core Skills:
Proven ability to generate leads and achieve high conversion rates through proactive field work (e.g., 50+ client visits/month).
Strong presentation and persuasion skills for pitching IT products/services to non-technical audiences.
Comfortable with travel (local/regional, 40-50% time) and working independently in dynamic environments.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic digital marketing (e.g., LinkedIn for lead gen).
Personal Attributes: Outgoing personality, resilience to rejection, excellent communication (English + regional language like Gujarati/Hindi), and logical problem-solving for on-the-spot client queries.
Nice-to-Haves: Certification in digital marketing (Google Ads/Facebook Blueprint); experience in B2B IT sales; own vehicle for field mobility.
