Job Overview

To drive sales and business development in the

Electrical Cables & Accessories

segment by targeting key clients including

Electricity Boards (EBs), DISCOMs, EPC contractors, and infrastructure consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with State Electricity Boards, DISCOMs, EPC contractors, and infrastructure consultants. Follow up on tenders, vendor registrations, and obtain product approvals from relevant departments. Coordinate with Purchase, Planning, and Technical teams within EB and utility organizations. Track tenders, project pipelines, and proactively pursue sales opportunities across various states. Ensure participation in tenders by preparing and submitting relevant documentation. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per the business plan. Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, and attend industry exhibitions. Provide timely market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to the management team.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred). Strong professional network with Electricity Boards, DISCOMs, and government procurement departments. In-depth knowledge of tendering processes, regulatory requirements, and product approval cycles. Willingness to travel extensively across states and regions. Self-driven, result-oriented, and excellent in communication and client engagement. Travel allowance & mobile reimbursement.
