The Sr. Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth for FlowAir's
modular aluminium air piping systems
, managing new and existing customer accounts, conducting site visits, and providing technical solutions tailored to industrial requirements.
The role requires strong technical understanding, field sales experience, and the ability to coordinate between clients, internal teams, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Field Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities across automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and site assessments to understand project requirements.
Create and present technical proposals, product demonstrations, and system layouts.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and expand market presence.
2. Technical Sales & Solution Design
Understand customer requirements for compressed air distribution systems.
Recommend appropriate aluminium piping sizes, layouts, and configurations.
Prepare BOQs, quotations, drawings, and technical documents.
Provide technical clarification to customers, consultants, and contractors.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, project contractors, and end-users.
Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct follow-ups, negotiate pricing, and close sales orders.
4. Project Coordination (Office + Field)
Work closely with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Review site measurements, installation schedules, and material dispatch requirements.
Provide field support during installation, testing, and final commissioning when needed.
5. Office-Based Reporting & Administration
Maintain CRM data, sales pipelines, customer records, and visit reports.
Prepare monthly sales forecasts, progress reports, and competitor analysis.
Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, presentations, and technical training sessions.
Key Skills Required
Strong technical knowledge of
compressed air systems, industrial piping, pneumatics, or mechanical engineering concepts
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and layout plans.
Strong field sales experience with B2B/industrial clients.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and basic AutoCAD (added advantage).
Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with frequent travel.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3-7 years of relevant experience in industrial or technical sales.
Experience in aluminium piping, pneumatic systems, compressors, or industrial equipment preferred.
