Role Objective:

Responsible for internal high-speed connector and cable assembly product design & development, which are used inside of Server and storage for data communication.

Following TE LEANPD process to complete new product design and development along with project development team, including but not limited to customer requirements alignment, concept conceives, detailed design, product qualification and production.


? Work closely with SA/FAE/PM to review VOC and convert to TE product specification.



? Conceives concepts, feasibility study along with project team, proto sample and validation.



? Detailed design such as DFMEA, Tolerance analysis, Mechanical and thermal simulation, 2D drawing and so on.



? Product qualification following product specification.



? Technical support to quality and efficiency improvement for safe launch


Technical support to customers, Sales/FAE, PM and Ops teams globally

Education And Experiences:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required and Master is preferred.

5 years or above experience in connector design or manufacturing engineering

Knowledge in connector design and development, including but not limited to, material selection, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, product qualification, etc.

Knowledge in manufacturing process including machining, molding, stamping, plating, etc.

Excellent skill in Design Software (For Example: Pro/E, CREO, AutoCAD. etc.)

Capable to using MS office software (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc)

Good English skill in both Oral and Written

Good communication and presentation skill

Familiar with quality tools (FMEA, 6sigma, DOE, 8D...), Black belt will be a plus.
