You will be working as Senior Research and Development Product Owner and will be part of Process Automation business area for Process Control Platform division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Head of Engineering and will be responsible for synchronizing priorities from different stakeholders to streamline the execution, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components. Coordinating with various streams and ensuring engineering aspects related to runtime are in line with engineering philosophy. Your responsibilities Collaborating with the global product management to translate market requirements to product requirements and executing the roadmap for next generation engineering Interacting with the stakeholders to understand and develop the requirement, scoping the projects in accordance with SAFe Agile Model Creating and grooming the backlog for teams, making a clear requirement, acceptance criteria and ensuring requirements are clearly articulated and followed by teams Acting as a sounding pad to teams clarifying requirements and ensuring early feedback and changes in direction Working with corporate research projects and translating the outcome for shaping the future roadmaps Providing technical support to testing team for verification, validation of the products, balancing product release expectation from the product management team, development team and ensuring release of the product with acceptable quality Contributing to technical bodies both inside and outside ABB and promoting ABB\'s R&D internally and externally Your background Bachelor\'s or masters in Instrumentation/ Industrial Automation/ Control Engineering Minimum 15 years of experience in Research & Development, Product development along with Industrial Automation domain working with various segments like energy, Oil and Gas etc Good knowledge on development lifecycle, lifecycle management, and technology stacks for enterprise application development Familiarity with process automation standards [like OPAF, IJH] is desirable Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism More about us Our Process Automation business offers a range of solutions for process and hybrid industries, including our industry-specific integrated automation, electrification and digital solutions, control technologies, software and advanced services, as well as measurement & analytics, marine and turbocharging offerings.
